[Risk No. 147] Lunch with old friends rule. Cameron was our waiter and I felt God wanted me to remind him that he was sincere and genuine, a great friend to others. Not a life-changing word, but simple encouragement none-the-less. I shared this and he greeted me with a smile. Sometimes being a risk-taker means letting someone know how God sees them even when the “word” is not profound or complicated. The Gospel is simple. Learning to hear God’s voice through the sharing of simple words is a great thing. Don’t be discouraged when/if you aren’t reading people’s mail. The priority is love.
