Tina, like Turner (pt. 2)

[Risk No. 315] This was a unique kind of risk. I saw Tina (like Turner – I even remembered her name as a result of the blog post title) at another local restaurant. I called out her name and she came over and gave me a hug. I asked how she was doing and she said that God had wonderfully used me to encourage her and that she was going all-out after Him. (Wow – Praise God!) My friend Linsey was with us and she loves learning to hear God’s voice. God gave me the bright idea to challenge Linsey to give Tina a word on the spot, on the fly. I introduced the two and said, “I feel like God is going to give Linsey a word to encourage you with.” Linsey was flustered at first but pulled through incredibly well. Tina was overwhelmed and I was thrilled that God allowed me to see her again and encourage her two times over, this time with a friend. So cool!
