[Risk No. 388] My cashier and I began small talk that ended on her sharing how she had been to the Doctor’s five times for a urinary track infection (UTI). Nothing had worked so she started praying. As a result of praying, God had completely and wonderfully healed her. I high-fived her on account of His goodness. She came around the cashier, hugged me and asked if I would pray for her son who lost his leg in the army and for her husband with a heart problem. Gladly! We stood there holding hands praying for these dear needs. A line had formed behind me and I thought to myself how funny a sight this must be. It was almost as if I could hear their thoughts: “Who are these people? Do they know each-other? Are they related? Best friends? This is not normal.”
We hugged. Jesus defined the new normal.
