[Risks No. 557 & 558] Kayla caught my eye as I entered Target. I walked in, looked to my right, and there she was. Smiling at me. Walked over and asked for her hand to remind her how much God loved her. It was one of those rarer occasions where I just knew God was going to give me encouraging words for her. I knew that I knew. Kayla told me how much she needed the reminder on this particular morning. It was sweet! Felt God tell me He was giving her the strength she needed to make it through this trial and that her sufferings were perfecting obedience. She was crying and said to me one of the sweeter phrases I could hear, “this is like being in church.”
I noticed Valerie (also while at Target), limping from a broken ankle 3 months back. Prayed for her and encouraged her. She was grateful and expressed a loosening that she was feeling in her ankle.
